I first discovered the game Virtual Villagers when I bought a new HP computer, the HP 1270us tablet PC. It was a fantastic device and the games I played on it still bring back great memories. Unfortunately, I had to return the computer because we could not agree on the price.
🏝️ About Virtual Villagers
The game came pre-installed on that computer. It is a simulation-style game with a vibe somewhat like the TV show Lost. There is an island and a small group of people who find themselves stranded there trying to survive. The challenge is that they are alone and must figure out how to live and thrive.
🎯 My Return to the Game
After about a month, I decided to play again. I downloaded the game from the internet, installed it on my computer and started playing. At first, I was excited. Every day, my little villagers discovered something new and worked hard to ensure the survival of their community.
🧩 The Puzzles and Challenges
The game contains 16 puzzles that you need to solve. I spent a lot of time trying to understand what they were and how to solve them. At one point, I even explored the installation folder and found images showing solved and unsolved versions of the puzzles. I replaced those images to help myself understand the puzzles more easily.
Despite all my efforts, some puzzles remained unsolved until now.
🔍 Finding Solutions Online
Today, for some reason, I decided to search the internet for puzzle solutions. I managed to solve all except the very last one. However, after spending so much time on it, I started to feel tired and a bit bored.
⚡ Final Thoughts
Virtual Villagers was a memorable experience for me. It taught me patience, problem-solving and the joy of discovery. Even though some puzzles were frustrating, the overall journey was rewarding.
